The Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA) is the second oldest manufacturers association in the United States, celebrating their 115th year. As a result, IMA felt it was important to showcase the 18 manufacturing companies that have demonstrated a long-term commitment to fostering a growing economic climate in Indiana through the creation of the Indiana Manufacturers Hall of Fame.
The goal of the Hall of Fame is to celebrate and recognize the positive achievements made by Indiana manufacturing companies, and to honor their contributions to furthering manufacturing in Indiana. Core characteristics of the chosen companies show a dedication to advocating for a business climate that creates, protects and promotes quality manufacturing jobs in Indiana.
The Inaugural Hall of Fame Luncheon featured Former Governor of Indiana and current Purdue University President, Mitch Daniels, who provided the Keynote Address for this prestigious event. The companies being inducted this inaugural year made outstanding contributions to the development of a healthy, dynamic environment in Indiana, and to the state’s overall economic well-being.
Today, Hammond Machine Works proudly displays the banner over their manufacturing floor.
